Kooks & Cowboys started with two friends and a simple idea: a small thrifting operation built around reselling clothing they loved. Drawn to two very different worlds, surfing and country living, they brought those influences together and called it Kooks & Cowboys. Along the way, I had the chance to meet them, and we quickly became close friends. Not long after, I joined the team, helping grow that small, honest idea into something more intentional, a clothing brand built on community. Recently, I took over the business with the goal of carrying that original vision forward, refining it while staying true to what made it special in the first place. For me, this isn’t just a brand. It’s a lifestyle I was raised in. Growing up in San Diego, I spent my time between the ocean and horses, learning to appreciate both the coastal and east county way of life. Kooks & Cowboys is a reflection of that balance. A blend of surf and country influence, built into something wearable, lived-in, and real.
